Summer Registration Checklist

Thinking about coming back to IVCC for a summer class? Here’s a checklist to be sure you are ready to go on Tuesday, April 2nd for online registration:

If you have never taken classes at IVCC:

1. Apply at www.ivcc.edu/apply.
2. Request a WebAdvisor account at www.ivcc.edu/webadvisor.
3. Check out our summer offerings.
4. Determine if the class you want has a prerequisite.

1. If you have completed the pre-req at another college, you need to send your official transcript to IVCC Attn: Records Analyst as soon as possible.
2. If you have not completed the pre-requisite, you will not be allowed to take the summer course at IVCC.
3. In the case of English and Math courses, you have the option to take our placement tests to gain entrance into those courses.
4. If you are not sure, call (815)224-0360 to talk to a counselor  about pre-requisites.

5. After requesting a WebAdvisor account (step 2), you receive a notification by email instructing you how to set up your account.
6. Set up your “shopping cart” by adding classes to your Preferred Schedule.
7. Register beginning Tuesday, April 2nd beginning at 8 am online via WebAdvisor. It is recommended that you register early due to the high demand for courses.
8. Payment for summer is due on May 8^th.

If you have attended IVCC since 2006:

1. You already are in our student system and have a WebAdvisor account.
2. If you don’t know what your WebAdvisor user id and password are, you need to set up your account.  
3. Check out our summer offerings.
