Orientation Information

One of the key tasks when starting a new school is to learn about the different opportunities available! We offer a variety of ways to help you learn all about IVCC and get acquainted to your new surroundings.

Open House 2015 - TBA

Experience IVCC

Are you ready to enroll but have no idea how to begin?  Do you want to take a guided tour of IVCC?  Do you have little knowledge of how financial aid works?  If you've answered 'yes' to any of these questions, you should attend Experience IVCC, a brief one stop enrollment information session offered each semester.

New Student Convocation/Fall or Spring Preview

One of your first official duties as an IVCC student will be to attend New Student Convocation/Fall or Spring Preview. During this 1/2 day welcome event, you will be able to find where your classes are located, go on personal customized tours of the campus, learn about the college, meet fellow new students, and interact with IVCC faculty and staff.  More information can be found here.

New Student Counseling Session

For all NEW FULL TIME students, this session is required in order to ensure success at IVCC.  New Part-Time students may elect to participate in a session, but it is not required.  At the Counseling session, students will meet with an IVCC counselor and schedule courses.
