Orientation Information

One of the key tasks when starting a new school is to learn about the different opportunities available! We offer a variety of ways to help you learn all about IVCC and get acquainted to your new surroundings.

New Student Convocation & Fall Preview 2013

One of your first official duties as an IVCC student will be to attend New Student Convocation and Fall Preview on August 16th.  During this 1/2 day welcome event, you will be able to find where your classes are located, go on personal customized tours of the campus, learn about the college, meet fellow new students, and interact with IVCC faculty and staff.  More information can be found here.

Experience IVCC

Are you ready to experience IVCC but are unsure how to begin?  From 6p-7:30p, Experience IVCC will be held at the Main Campus on July 22nd and Ottawa Center location on August 1st.  Admissions, Financial Aid, and an Assessment representatives will be present to help you take the first step.  Campus Tours will be available upon request!

New Student Counseling & Registration Session

For all NEW FULL TIME students, this session is required in order to ensure success at IVCC.  New Part-Time students may elect to participate in a NSCAR session, but it is not required.  At NSCAR sessions, students will meet with an IVCC counselor, schedule courses, cover general IVCC information, and address accessing student technology.
