I, ________________________________________ as a candidate for the office of _____________________________ in the World Language Organization –WLO at Illinois Valley Community College, am filing this petition with the signatures of 24 currently enrolled IVCC students.

I have also included my Position Statement in which I state what I intend to do as an officer in WLO during academic year 2008-2009. [Please limit Position Statement to 150 words or less.] When your completed petition is approved, your statement will be published on this web site.

Print this form, complete with 24 signatures of current IVCC students and return to Professor Pietrolonardo’s office A-316, by 4 pm on Monday, April 7, 2008.
[If door is closed, slide completed petition under door of office A-316.]
The Order in which completed petitions are received will be the sequence in which candidate’s names will appear on the ballot.

The election will be held on Monday, April 14 in A316 from 11:00 am through 4 pm.  New officers will be installed at the WLO/Sigma Delta Mu Annual Meeting on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 11 am to 12 noon.
